FLOCK
This series of bird images was created for an exhibition at Quirk Gallery in the spring of 2012. FLOCK was my first in-depth exploration in making cyanotypes - an alternative photographic process that produces a rich Prussian blue print using a photo sensitive solution of iron salts. The alchemical nature of the technique is appealing as it combines my interest in drawing, printmaking, and collage. New images have been made since the exhibition and added to this site.
